Hi Clay, thanks for sharing, Pandora is great!

I am one of those who do listen to not only music but also the animation podcasts while animating. As a result I have listened to each podcast probably 20 times (just finished my grad. film – 2D animation- and that was 7 months of loooooong nights.) THANK YOU! they are extremely inspiring especially after hours of flipping paper and thinking why did I get into this business again?!

I would love to hear your comments on my grad film – afterall, you were there (well at least your and your guests’ voices) every step of the way. You can watch the film till end of Nov. here:

Mmm, mainly Nobuo Uematsu’s Final Fantasy 9 instrumental. Mostly from either the “PLUS” edition of the soundtrack or the Piano version played by Louis Leerink in order to calm my nerves down. I always freak out whenever I start animating –I’m almost done college but I’m still like this. It’s due to a first year animation teacher who’s pretty harsh…I get panicked whenever I animate

Ok this is the coolest thing in the world. Clay, I’ve spread this to so many people ever since hearing about it This is an excellent way to put your band up if they had a way to do it. Gotta love the musical revolution. Dick Williams turned me on to Bix Beiderbecke. Dick plays a pretty good cornet himself and had a hot jazz sextet called “Dix Six” as a tribute to Bix.

Outstanding ! Thanks for the tip about Pandora.

(I don’t listen to music while animating either, but this is great for doing other stuff . I love it) .

The play list I’m on right now was based on requesting : Bix Beiderbecke.
So far that’s gained me several pieces by Bix, , Red Nichols, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Fletcher Henderson, Wynton Marsalis . Too cool.

That Pandora thing is amazing ! My playlists are based upon Ben Harper and Pink Floyd, and it did a great job at playing similar musics.
