Hey everybody! I’ve been trying to find the time to work on the next shows (with a NEW guest), so when that all comes together, you’ll be getting Show 16. In the meantime, while I’m not editing audio, I’ll be taking a fresh look at my email inbox to see if I can whittle down the pile and respond to you if you’ve contacted me. Thanks for the patience. I know there are a lot of different places you can go on the web for animation information, and I’m happy to have you stop by here.

On a side note, I’ve been getting questions about unfinished interviews. I’ve got more Nik Ranieri audio to make a few more shows (and then we’ll get together again to bring it to the present). You’ve heard all the Ron & John audio I have, but now that they’re back at Disney, we can finish what we started. Like I said in Show 15, I’ll be meeting again with Glen, so if you want to ask him a question, use the Voicemail link in the header and record yourself.

You’ll hear from me soon.

Can’t wait for your next guest, Clay!

Though I do hope that Nik’s stuff will be timely as well. Hs Part 3 ended on the perfect cliffhanger (just off Roger Rabbit and moving right into Disney’s production on ‘Mermaid.’).

The truth is I’d love to ask Glen something, but I don’t have a microphone for voicemail, and I don’t want to ask the obvious questions(‘what was the hardest sequence to animate? What was your most difficult character to work on?). Things like that.

Hi Clay,

Just a quick guest request…I would love to see either Genndy Tartakovsky and/or Craig McCracken interviewed. There’s a lot of hype on feature film animation, and not enough on some good quality tv animation. I’m pretty sure these guys have a really big fan base, so I know I’m not the only one who would dig if you had either or both of these guys on. Anyway, keep up the great work as always…

I completely agree with Noah, I would absolutely love to hear Genndy Tartakovsky interviewed! Of course, this is AFTER Glen Keane, haha. Thank you so much! Glen Keane has been one of my all-time heroes of animation, so this really makes me happy.

Hey Clay I just had a chance to re-listen to all of your shows non stop on a drive to Dallas and back and I just have to say how amazing and wonderfull it is that you decided to start doing this project. The shows have gotten better and better and I am looking forward to the new shows when they arive. I have been telling every one I meet about the site. I can not thank you enough for your time and work you put in to the shows.

Anway enough gushing, just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work.

Hey guys, thanks for the support. I’m carving out some time this weekend to work on the next show. I’m close to wrapping it up. I won’t make promises, but I’m hoping to get it out before Monday morning.

Paul – Actually I’m on American Dog, but for the next few months I’m working on Meet the Robinsons. I’m really excited about that, but it means I’ll be working more hours. You can figure out where that leaves the show. I won’t stop though. I love doing the podcast.

Kaveh – I appreciate the offer, but you’re doing your part by reminding me that you guys are still waiting. I won’t let you down.

I’m waiting for your next podcast by re-listening to the last few podcasts over and over again. I just can’t get enough of them. I just downloaded most of them for the first time on Wednesday and am getting the rest today. I’m taking the animation podcast camping this weekend. 🙂
